Wow, so eloquently put.

"Everyone has different circumstances" went out the window as soon as we all signed up to work at an Agency Shop with a collectively bargained agreement. So for people to say "Im going to get mine, regardless of the rules," you really are stepping on your fellow pilots. Im willing to bet you dont care, thats fine. However what would that say about our contract if every pilot had the "im gonna get mine" mentality in enforcing it?

Again, I know you dont care and will most likely respond with the same aggression and disregard that you have in the previous posts you have made.

U are right...I will use this contract to my advantage to make myself more money just like I will do with the next one...I'm sure alpa will take care of u in the future..remember they are no [Super Woman] charity event..I pay them money every year to make sure I get the holidays off and I get a raise...in the end I will get a big [sloppy bear hug] and so will everyone else...and with a capital YES alpa does have the I'm going to get mine with everything they do...don't forget that

This attitude, more than anything else, is why it will take forever to get a contract. If people would just stop answering their phones on their days off for a week we'd have a TA. But that will never happen, especially with this kind of attitude so rampant here.

But yeah, calling for water or paperwork is the real killer. (Sarcasm )

Wow, so you're following the contract to make money or you're a slimy tool, working deals?
Obviously I don't know which way you're making money...but your tone certainly casts a shadow in one direction versus the other. Hopefully that shadow is just internet confusion.
I'm definitely not in favor of guys picking up at straight pay; but it's within the confines of the CBA and allowed. So knock yourself out for peanuts. The shady deal-making, on the other hand, isn't ok in any respect.

Hey everyone,

I noticed that Delta is not listed on the OAL list found in LINK. We can still jumpseat domestically on Delta right?

Yes, we can jumpseat on any CASS carrier.

And don't trust LINK for anything.

Yep, this attitude is insidious and way to prevalent in our pilot group. "Get mine while I can." Most can't pay their day to day bills on min guarantee..so they have to operate this way. Management knows this...!

I was wondering if it's ok to be a happy Spirit Pilot? I know I will probably be viewed as a little strange but most days I wake up and I'm happy I'm not dying of cancer and my lights come on in my house.

Yep!

I'm right along with you, but I definitely think we're in the minority on this forum.

It's possible to be a very happy person but very dissatisfied with our contract
