Not sure why I keep hearing this. It's not gonna matter who is president. Whatever happens with the economy good or bad was going to happen anyway.

It matters. The supreme court is the reason why because judges are there for life in most cases. If Trump wins then the balance between Democrat and Republican judges remain and the judges have to ague about the law among themselves.

If Hillary wins then there will be a majority of Democrat judges for the next 30 plus years, which means no checks and balances.

Checks and Balances is a good thing in all fairness to the law.

Now lets get off politics and go back to the Airline Industry. November 8th it will be decided in any event.

I was talking about the economy and how some think it will be massively affected by who is elected president. I wager it has little affect.

What does affect us more than anything is who is on the NMB.

Btw your argument could go both ways considering we could have several deaths on the Supreme Court in the next 4 years.

the united states has been living on a credit card for 8 years. after the current media darling president is out of office, the bills will come due. and time to pay the piper, as well as china. if you don't believe the powers that be are crafting the 'perfect' presidency for the current corrupt potus, you need your head examined. come back next year and call me out if i am wrong.

what we need is some hope and change.....oh wait, scratch that......let me wager a guess, you have come out of college in the last 10 years. how can i tell? your naivete of how the world works has the stink of bullshi1t liberal college all over it. the nmb will always be against you no matter who is president. stop believing there is any fairness in anything government or corporate related, or maybe cut the prozacs in half

you're playing poker where everyone can see your cards. you are screwed, you will always be screwed ,get used to it. keep believing in fairness, i'm sure it will work out for you

checks and balances. that's hilarious. this world is so corrupt you really think 'checks and balances' is a real thing....?

Having quality training is a cornerstone to our livelihoods and we should demand it be improved.
It's just as important as LTD or health insurance in the overall picture.

This rule making could really affect spirit sales. Guess it all depends on what 'intrinsic' means...

ATW-"And DOT is conducting a separate rulemaking process to “explore” requiring airlines to disclose an “all-in-one price” on online travel sites, the department said. Fees to be potentially included in the disclosed price are baggage fees, seat assignment fees, and change and cancellation fees. “The idea here is the department is exploring what are the optional services that are so intrinsic to air services that they should be displayed along with the fare [online],” the DOT official said.

That last point is probably the one that had most airline executives taking a sharp intake in breath as it’s a clear stab at airline ancillary fees. Those “explorations” could easily turn into further re-regulation of the industry, effectively dictating how airlines sell their services and products and run their business."

[QUOTE=paidpnuts;2226946]Didn't I read somewhere that SWAPA is pulling their AIP. Because Delta has a TA, they're not about to be bested by Delta. So possibly their price goes up too. Lol! Crazy an airline operating a low cost structure with all 73 will not get paid less then one of our most prestigious airlines.

I support my NC!
