I think hes like a 350lbs unemployed ex American Eagle guy or something. I actually feel kind of bad for him. One of the largest hiring cycles we've had in years and hes on the sidelines, lol.

What will really be funny is watching him leave the Spirit Threads when we get a contract (and we will) and watch him troll the Frontier Threads until they get theirs, lol.

Hopefully he sticks around, he at least brings some entertainment

yeah, you're right, better to be unemployed than make $120k and work 36 days. What was I thinking. Enjoy your merger and being an F/O for the next 20 years. Our contract is coming, the left seat for you is not

You're taking internet posts way too hard.
Business model has nothing to with payrates. Regardless on how Spirit makes their money. They chose to take on the ULCC business model, it doesn't mean they can pay their employees a lot less because of how they make their revenue. They just got away with it as of now.

So do tell
Unbundled fares is part and the main highlight of the spirit business model.
High aircraft utilization.
Single aircraft type which cuts on MX expenses.
Focus city's that allow less frequency with high returns.
More seats per a/c.

Im not sure what your deal is man. But it's getting tiring for someone who is so knowledgeable about spirit to not even be employed here, and seems at any 121 carrier? Checking that box asking if you have ever been terminated from a 121 carrier must be a tuff pill to swallow. Take a break find a hobby I don't know. I try to avoid the trolls...but you make it impossible.

Cujo is correct on this one. Operations at Spirit are a joke, and anyone who's worked here knows this. Labor costs are also clearly in the sights of management and our investors. There is always someone who asks the question about rising labor costs or contracts during quarterly shareholder calls. Many here are leaving or are trying to leave, but for many others, Spirit is a decent place to work. It's definitely worth fighting for a better CBA that recognizes our work.
