Like I was saying. I’m sorry I wasted my time here, obviously nothing meaningful to say. See ya

Default Well I hate to say it.

I wonder how many of our new hire pilots in the last year or two are regretting coming here now if they had other offers from Delta, UPS, or FedEx? I told a few during that time that the biggest threat to their careers here was our current union leadership. That unfortunately just revealed it’s ugly head. And we all know Insler is still wagging the tail like Obama. Insler bragged about his relationship with management and how he’d sit down to dinners with Kirby. Never should that happen. Only in a negotiation setting and only with lawyers present. Insler and TS right there in the same mold. We got CPOS02 and TS got a cushy flight Ops management job. Let’s see where Insler ultimately ends up…🤔

Yes. At times I have thought twice about coming to United. At times I have regretted my decision.

Yes. I have been disappointed.

If the pilots at UAL turn down this agreement and on the other side show solidarity and strength, my faith in the industry and pilot group will be restored.

Why anyone would choose UAL over FedEx and UPS is beyond me. I get it from the outside looking in but if one truly does their homework no way is it justified to come here over those two. And after seeing this Id be getting my stuff in at FedEx and UPS so quick. The career earnings and retirement numbers at those two places is staggering over a career at UAL. Mind blowing the differences…

UAL has built the facilities kinda like Saban at AL. A recruit comes in and it’s wow wow wow. But once here there are no championship trophies afterwards. Just we’ll get it next time or in an LOA.

Wait a minute guys. United Airlines is still a great place to work. Sans the current quagmire we find ourselves in, we currently have the best CBA in the industry; I need to repeat that. TODAY, United is unequivocally the best place for a major airline pilot to work; we just have to make sure it stays that way. I remain in contact with Pilots at the other majors and we still have a lot to be proud of here at United . Don’t submit to defeatism. Our Union gets it right 99% of the time. Unfortunately, this TA falls in the other 1%. It’s just business. I’ve worked with Jeff Brown and Mike Hamilton both, my opinion hasn’t changed; both are good, hard working peers and volunteers. But anyone can make a mistake occasionally; this TA is a mistake. Don’t take it personally. Also, don’t take concessions. We can vote no without demonizing our airline or our fellow Pilots.

There are mistakes and then there’s doubling and tripling down on mistakes. They might be fine people but they need to go. Respectfully speaking of course.
