They just need to save face and pull this TA now. Don’t let this thing even make it to July 15th. They have the ability to do so and should. You could see by their tone and body language especially Hunnewell they have heard what a piece of shiit this is. Pull it and regroup and do not keep this out to vote till the 15th.

This TA is one of the greatest tragedies of this era of our profession.
The scope gives alone are beyond comprehension.
The company will save almost the entire "cost" of this TA on the new terms around IRO landings classes ("Might go unpaid for 60 days or more")
The Town Hall last night was one of the most disgraceful things I have ever witnessed.
I, for one, will be hanging it up if this thing passes.
Seppuku is the ONLY acceptable way forward from those who built and supported this thing.

Cleaning house at your union is another message to management that you’re not gonna roll over and accept this total bull$7it proposal.
At SWA, SWAPA’s latest poll from a few months ago only had 40% as the highest selectable percentage of what we expect for a rate increase throughout the life of the next contract.
Some of us are ****ed and asking why there wasn’t a higher percentage choice on the poll.
The world is changing drastically and quickly and especially our economic and financial world here in ‘Merica. I don’t plan to be left behind. Say it with me….I WILL STRIKE.
Sorry to get so fired up on your UAL forum but when my company verbalizes in ground school that every time we push the thrust levers up we accept a 1.6 billion dollar liability, then I damn well expect to be compensated accordingly. $500/hr for flying a stupid little Guppy is still grossly underpaid for my responsibilities and contribution to the Kompany’s bottom line. Let’s get real here.
