To prepare for a UAL interview, did you utilise aviationinterviews.com ? RST? other services?

Thanks in advance.

Lori Clark from Fly The Line has some valuable insight and good techniques.

Do you guys think I知 better off going back to flying Part 121 or do I have a shot with staying where I知 at, upgrading
and possibly becoming a LCA with my current company?

Thanks for the response. Do you think getting experience in a CE-525 is worth it considering it's small size, etc? Though I did check the Part 121 box, it was short lived as I only worked there for about a year.

Plenty of people get hired with no 121 time. It all depends on the entirety of your resume. An even then, it痴 HR that does the hiring so who really knows what exactly they are looking for. If you went to Stanford and did your graduate work at MIT, you値l probably be ok.

Latest flight ops update says we need to hire 1500 pilots by next year and 3000 by 2023.

That big sucking sound is coming back. Massive hiring across the majors, and continuing for several years, will suck up all the decent captains with the regionals as fast as they can make them.

In regards to seat locks, I understand they are only for downgrading equipment and not for upgrading. What about for lateral movement? Say 737 to A320 or vise versa? Also, in regards to base assignment, I know you can transfer or wait for a vacancy bid. How often do vacancy bids normally happen?
Finally, any idea of what the average new hire age is? Would someone mid 30s expect to be on the young or middle of the pack?
Thanks for all the help! I知 starting BI soon and trying to gain a reasonable expectation on where I値l fall bidding initially and then follow on options to switch things up as desired after.

Moving within same pay category (737/A320) comes with a 3 year hard freeze.

Unless you switch bases in order to change NB fleets, then it comes with the usual 24 month lock (NOTHING PREVENTS YOU FROM BASE TRADING/VACANCY BID BACK INTO YOUR ORIGINAL BASE ASAP) - without any additional penalty.
ie. EWR 320 FO wants to go 737 for some crazy reason - then after your initial 24 month newhire seat lock (going NB to NB) bid SFO 737, which you値l get no problem. THEN the gamble...try and base trade BACK to EWR on the 737 or wait for another vacancy bid (which will seem to be happening a lot more with today痴 announcement). Buyer beware tho...bid what you want - want what you bid!
