But it will be good for junior guys living in base wanting the Capt bid.
That’s a great point. Dramatically changes the QOL for reserves on the bus fleet. There will be some quite junior captains crossing the pond!

I don’t see how that’s much different than 756 currently for junior pilots. Main difference is EWR only and don’t have to cover LGA.

Hopefully we didn’t eat up too much negotiating capital on the 757 rates

Go to Flying Together - Crew Resources - Vacancy Bid - then look at the most recent “Category Summary”.

Complete list of all bases, all equipment, all pilots and their seniority.

Good point. However 2024 is 5 years away! We might have a different contract with different reserve rules, or might not. We might not ever see these planes on property either. It’s a long way away.

It takes off for Singapore twice a day from SFO on a 17 hour flight, full of both passengers and cargo (max gross). My experience has been quite different than what you describe.

If you’re saying the triple has more cubes below the floor, I can’t argue with that.
Like I said, Sparkie has more range. So yeah it can do SIN where we on the 777 cannot. All I was trying to say is, regardless of route, the 777 can carry more stuff.

Supposedly 170 seats per Norcella yesterday. Current 757’s have 169.

Both TAP and Aer Lingus have 321’s with lie flat flying across the Atlantic. Similar first class to the JetBlue Mint layout.
