Looks like the crew resource team is very optimistic... pretty substantial bid considering where we were this summer and fall.

Ok yeah well in that regards yes. I was more referring to having all pilots who want to be here on property.

Cheers.

I just wonder what percentage people should bid to definitely remain above the g-line during a recovery. 50, 60, 70...? It will be interesting to see some of these snapshots when they come out next week.

Some people won’t have a choice. If I remember right in the LOA it says to remain pay protected you must bid your old seat at 100%

Some crazy times. Just by looking at the February g-lines, IAH is now much more senior than DEN, and the 737 is going senior to the 320 in several bases. I know that DEN and IAH have always been pretty senior, but the 737 selling at a premium is a new one. In one years time we have gone from 737 upgrades getting canceled due to the max, to the devastation from COVID, to this. Hopefully the recovery is just as wild. I think that I’m going to stay put and watch the show. I can figure out where to bid after the dust settles.

And all major bases getting 737 CA grandfather rights except SFO will make for at least a few junior captains keeping their seats ahead of more senior ones.

DEN 756 is intriguing. Any ideas on the future flying?
