How many pilots will remain off of property at UA after this bid? I ask because UA and DL have positioned themselves for a speedy recovery response after this virus passes. We will all have to see once this crap passes, I could be wrong. One thing is for sure, no two airlines have handled their response to Covid in the same. What’s UA saying?

Wow, that’s wonderful! It looks like UA management is reading the tarot cards as, “half-full” for sure. Here is to a speedy upturn in getting pilots asrses back in a jet...mine included.

no one lost their job that didn’t want time off voluntarily. Everyone will make normal pay retroactively back to dec1 and until cares 2runs out and we are still below 70% of 2019 month to month block.

Again, big picture on our process was to keep all pilots active and ready to plus up without the LIMFAC of the training pipeline if things start to pick up quickly.
My 2 cents.

we may have kept all pilots active, but we did not keep all current.
UAL doesn’t have a UNA process. Big picture, right or wrong on how it was done in the LOA, was to keep all pilots active and current. Cares 2 brings all pilots to normal MPG levels for the duration of the funding and retro to DEC. Different approach to what DAL did but we have different CBAs.
