You guys are delusional. The union leadership is elected to represent the majority of the pilots....not the 5% that cause 99% of their problems. They might negotiate some vaccine compensation but beyond that, the vast majority of pilots want every pilot to be vaccinated. Just that simple.

Personally I would have liked to have seen full approval first. I don’t work for UAL but I do work for a carrier that also mandated it. F9 apparently. Im guessing insurance companies (health, LTD, life, ect…) are driving this to some extent. At some point the risk/cost is going to have to be shifted from the government to insurance companies. My guess is next calendar year. I mention this with some Alpa experience dealing with insurance companies. Grievance committee.

Call it an ultimatum if you wish but it's still your choice.

I'm vaccinated. It wasn't really my choice. Forcing vaccines on otherwise healthy and unaffected individuals is immoral and inhumane.

The short term effects from these vaccines can be significant. The long term effects, if any, are unknown.
It WAS your choice. Did someone physically restrain you? At least be man enough to own your decision.

I’m glad to see United have the courage to require
College educated or “believing in science” doesn’t mean ****. I have a high school degree and hire Part 91 pilots to fly my planes. Tell me about how smart you are.

More than a quarter of COVID-19 cases in L.A. are fully vaccinated people

CDC director warns COVID-19 virus may be “a few mutations” away from evading vaccine

In Israel, the most vaccinated country in the world, HALF of all new “delta” infections are occurring in “fully vaccinated” people.

So why the vaccine fanaticism? There are so many red flags here.

The vaccine works extremely well at keeping you from getting really sick. It's not designed to get you to pass a covid test. It's about keeping people from dying and getting hospitalized. Those headlines are all pointless. You don't understand what vaccines are for

‘Give me your wallet or I’ll kill you’ is also a choice. ‘Feed your family or take the injection’ isn’t much different. (I took it btw, but it should be my choice)

The constitution limits what the government can do to us, but doesn’t explicitly bar large corporations from imposing the tyranny the govt can’t. COVID lockdowns wiped out much of small business so the options to feed a family if we choose to quit are dwindling. Especially when all the big companies make the shot mandatory. The arrogant douchebaggery of people celebrating this… just move to China if you want to be forced to do this. They’ll even weld you door shut! Hooray!

I thought vaccines prevented disease.

Sounds like this prevents (some) symptoms.

Let's inject 90% of the population anyway and see what happens.

They prepare your body to fight the infection. Which the covid vaccine does extremely well. Testing positive for covid and getting severely ill are very different things.

Over 99% of covid deaths are among the unvaxxed
