January 2022 being the exception that proves the rule.

Then go code. This job is heading there anyway. 43 years from now when that kid has to retire, no way there are still people pushing buttons in the plane.

They can save their comments until we have something to talk about. Right now they are stirring the pot off of rumors. Most of my delta friends don't understand our contract or worse have taken a nugget of truth from our contract and extrapolated out a much worse system. They also get fed a steady stream of corporate rah rah that they are the best, our brand brings a 20% premium, and one big happy family that keeps them complacent against blatant scope violations. We are weaker as pilots if we let the ignorant or misinformed keep stirring the pot.

Meh, I think most of us Delta guys are just hoping the next big contract (probably yours) would do the heavy lifting this time. This has been exacerbated by the stagnation at our negotiating table. If most of your negotiating capitol was used to get QOL items we already have it just means we are doing the lifting again. It’s a disappointment, but not unusual. I don’t fault your MEC for their strategy, seems like a smart move to work the QOL and toss on a “me too” for rates.

As someone who is neither DAL or UAL, I am curious - what QOL items does DAL have that UAL doesn’t?

Don't waste our time to get answers that are too numerous and detail-orientated.. Go search for contract comparisons between airlines.

Did you just waste your time telling me not to waste your time? 🤔

The 80 page document the Delta MEC constructed to compare contracts titled “Delta Pilots’ Contract Comparison” doesn’t shed much light on this question unless the reference is to 5:15 vs 5:00, reserve rules, and 200% vs 150%|175%|200%.

That wasn’t my point….I’m saying it’s ridiculous that we have all posted 60+ pages without having a shred of useful information to base those posts on.

(I wasn’t saying we should have seen something here)
