April 10 seems to be a completely random date. Any reason why u picked it?

I think Kirby balks and in April we’ll be singing the same ole company is broke or can’t afford us song we’re used to hearing.

I would tend to agree, but Delta has set the rate based on a semi-forced hand by mediation. There's no where to go if your mgmt and have tell the truth to wall street about the revenue environment. How do you fill your vacancies this year without a contract? How do you get through a record summer without the support of the pilots? Due to the volume of hiring across the industry, If you're not first, your last. And Delta is definitely first.

Kirby knows this and conceded the day the Delta AIP came out. He knew the game was up and called it a pass through expense. I'm cautiously optimistic

Good post. I think you’re right. I’m just recovering from 15+ years of airline management tomfoolery coupled with a union with no ⚾️ ⚾️ or backbone 🦴.

The people who bid the coastal bases already have it built in.
why wouldn’t you just bid SFO WB CA if it is so great with a COLA adjustment? I am sure folks would be happy to take the “junior0 WB CA seats in IAH if SFO goes senior.

can the company offer COLA for coastal bases outside of a contract?

PSC and a Cola option would bring balance to the
“Living in base is a choice // commuting is a choice” refrain.

Stability for my children as they wend their way through school is my primary reason for commuting, a distant secondary is taxes. It’s not always all about the taxes.

I’ll take you on that wager, I’ll retire mine if we do have it by 3/15.

That might mean getting Hilton points at a Garden Inn, instead of no points at a Hilton. I'd rather stay in a nicer property with no points.
Please don't volunteer for NC or LEC office. This isn't a zero sum situation.
