Honestly… yes. Don’t get me wrong. I hate wearing it, and I REALLY hate commuting with it. If it were optional it would be stashed in the basement before the ink was dry on the CCS message. That said, I do still think it makes us look more professional 🤷♂️

I politely disagree obviously but it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. In the spirit of Data Collection and canvassing could you state your age and flying background please.

My original point stands - anyone who actually wanted to get appointments did. And if you can't find one now, go to a nearby brooks brothers and size match. Not that hard.
Not me. On a long vacation at the start of fittings. Every possible tine/place I could go after vacation had no availability…none, no matter how early I checked. Don’t care anyway as I’m happy sending my order in. But don’t make a statement that includes “anyone”. There are always exceptions.
customer service is large part of the airline industry, but as a workgroup we spend very little time with the customer......I'd say a customer experiences 75% inflight, 20% gate agent......less than 5% pilots just slightly above ramp.....
agreed ... and yet some of us complain about having to manage even a smile when interacting with those who pay us and put their lives in our hands
but that point has nothing to do with uniforms
if someone has articulated a persuasive reason to spend whatever has been and will be spent on new uniforms (given other uses for that $), i haven't seen or heard it

I will say it is a million times more comfortable than the last brand, I actually like all the pieces (yes I got an appointment), the tech jacket while bulky will be nice on overnights, I believe you’ll see 3-4 people wearing it daily ha. The hat to me looks a little better but I’d love it to be optional. I think I’ll keep my white shirts vendor but everything else will be an upgrade. As for the look I like it minus the stripes, I also think brown shoes might be more on style

That being said there is a segment of our clientele (mostly in Europe and Asia) that notices how "professional" crews look when walking through the airport. It seems to me however that "professional" is a code word for attractiveness of the mostly female FA's.
All this notwithstanding, if you go to a Uniform fitting....DON'T stand up and walk around like the people will encourage you to do ......rather, SIT DOWN. Then do things like reach forward, raise your arms, and try to mimic getting in and out of a 737 seat.....because that's what you will be doing most of the time in the uniform.
To bad I couldn't come up with a way to simulate doing a run through IAH or ORD to catch a deadhead/commute..........I mean when my midsection becomes all moist...am I going to have pick my front wedgie in middle seat in economy plus.......these are the things that I want in a uniform......if I look "professional" great but if not oh well.....I got you to where it says in the ticket.

Can’t, it will be too hard to find brown athletic shoes…
