I know that the 756 isn’t a pure WB, but that’s going to 1st year folks on vacancy bids so there’s that

I loved the 757, and it’s a great airplane to fly…. But the 756 is hands down the hardest type course I’ve ever done and I have almost a dozen of them. There are far too many nuances between each engine/make/model. Maybe it’s gotten better since the retirement of the Pratt 757’s…. And don’t get me wrong the airplane is f’ing awesome, but buyer beware.

As long as they're cool with commuting to EWR, though. SFO and IAH 756 aren't letting anyone in.. And the SFO bid packages are literally 75 pct redeyes the last time I looked. The EWR 756 flying does look pretty great though...

I’m a little biased, but I think EWR is the only base to go for the 756 haha best flying in the system

EWR 756, DCA 756, SFO 777/787, EWR 737, IAD 737 is the order of best flying in the system.

First I’ve heard of 756 IAD making the list, but I don’t usually poke my head there

from what I’ve glimpsed at 737 trips at Denver and west of, IAD is definitely really nice. Not Caribbean-heavy EWR nice , but close. IAD 756 is just so stagnant compared to EWR

Anything west of IAH and it starts getting real… disappointing. Outside of the Hawaii flying (and WB excluded), the flying is awful. Lots of reds and 3-4 leg days on the 737 (I’m sure the airbus is worse).

IAD flying (756/guppy) is just a EWR lite with similar trip mix.

756 gets good amount of Europe during peak. 737 gets close to a similar Caribbean mix with long layovers good amount of easy trans cons, redeyes are usually last day of trip.

Draw a line from ORD and IAH. 737 flying west of that line starts to fall off hard with the number of redeyes increasing….

4 leg days are extremely rare if not non existent. Look through the bid packet and you’ll be hard pressed to find one.
