Still awaiting for your defining of "Active Service" vs "Longevity".

Active Service = Time one sat in a seat on active duty with UAL (most guys have 8+ years something the CAL guys cannot figure out)

Longevity = Time with a company including time on Furlough, LOA, Mil Leave etc....very important for PAY! Ie...12 year pay instead of 8 year pay as noted above.

Anyone who's had drinks with THE "McCabe" must be a semi-decent cat.
In that case, we'll give you the benefit of the doubt

BTW.....You're really reaching, keep trying!

CAL MEC is very VERY afraid that if longevity for PAY is in the TA - it will be used against them in the SLI.

Sad that they won't even try to see a different viewpoint from the UAL side.

Hint: It doesn't do a friggen THING for the SLI period. Just a liveable wage for the 1436 that got furloughed for 4 years.

And don't forget the CAL pilots that were also furloughed that would benefit from this.

So all u uals jumping up and down for longevity, how do u think your late 80s highers will like doing 3 day euro trips on a 757 for 13:30 pay because that is what they will end up with if it goes with doh.

Guys the DAL/NWA bubba's got Longevity. I do not know why CAL guys are so against this, unless they think by NOT having it they can screw the UAL folks?

Do you think it is fair for a guy to be on first year pay over 24 months? This is about UAL JUNIOR folks (ie...2007-2008) you see it is not "ALL ABOUT ME" I care for my junior brothers/sisters (sisters ..it is UAL after all....just a little UAL humor) I rarely see any brotherhood on the CAL side..its just ME ME ME ME ME pigging at the trough flying 90+ hours, picking up open time, and have NO issue with DEN, ORD, and LAX bases.....I aint gonna even talk about PAY BANDING and the whole 40 Million dollar deal.

YES IT WILL EVEN BENEFIT THE CAL PILOTS AS WELL.
