Thanks. They told him in the interview that it might take as long as 10 days. So that jives.

ORD had Capt bids on 777 recently so I don't think adding a few would greatly over staff the base. Not sure about SFO.

The bid is out and its much bigger than I expected...I hope the format works!

9 IAH 787 captains
6 IAH 777 captains
18 IAH 756 captains
70 SFO 737 captains

5 ORD 747 first officers
40 IAH 756 first officers

My buddy got hired
Fyi
Interviewed 11/17 called 11/25 for the job

Did a meet and greet with Cle cp on a recommendation from a check airman.

He's pretty happy and so am I.

Good luck again to everyone.

the Latest update from Manpower Planning said we would receive 20 more by the summer of 2015.

10Lover, first time poster like yourself. I am in your same boat. Do not make my mistake and get prepared (interview prep). I was not expecting a call this early and it came and now i'm jumping through hoops to get ready. Currently working to get my terminal leave date moved up in the hopes I am lucky and get through the interview with a job offer. Once they contact you, it all happens quick!
