Staffing on the 787 will continue to increase throughout the fall/winter of 2015/2016 to match aircraft deliveries. Once the 25th aircraft is delivered to United, L-UAL pilots will be able to be awarded vacancies on this fleet type; we continue to anticipate this delivery happening in late November 2015, and we don’t plan any further vacancies until after the 25th aircraft is delivered. We expect 30 airplanes to be on property by July 2016.

maybe against your beliefs. maybe seems selfish. but not ignorant. it's well-informed. if you post, try to use correct language.
new hires since the 1930s have had the bad schedules, the on-call duty, and poorer quality of life. and, guess what, after a few years they move up in QOL and new new-hires take over.
my post only told a new hire to quit whining. you went and got all socialist on your post. you are the ignorant one.

So in a way you are ignorant for telling him to **** off because he chose the 756.
By the way who cares how bad it used to be. My grandfather used to ride a horse 20 miles to school. Does that mean anyone who complains that their car is a price of **** should **** off and go ride a horse? it's not the world we live in anymore. By the way what's a DC-10?????

Yeah, I've seen the Crew Resources Outlook. But someone had posted actual projected dates. #25 was originally rumored to be on Nov 25, but the poster had said Nov 30, I think.
I know the 747 replacement strategy....but isn't this ULH flying (and FRMS) about new service?

In our previous edition, we mentioned that the first of 10 new 777-300ERs is scheduled to arrive in January 2017. While the markets these planes will fly are not currently defined, we anticipate these airplanes to predominantly reside on the East Coast.

Not quite: age-60 came about in 1959 when American CEO C.R. Smith asked his ol' buddy Gen. Pete Quesada (First FAA Administrator) to enact a new rule, because the looming jets on the horizon were going to cost him too much in pilot pay if everyone was super-senior.
