Management is late with their report to me on the future of hiring. Tomorrow I’ll call and have them replaced with more proactive types.

Talked to a buddy there and he said even with this bid, there maybe few pilots still hired through the summer. Obviously no major hiring but a few. Bid has to go through and then we’d see. Is this a reasonable theory?

They have been doing a summer and a winter bid for last several years. Doubt we will see another bid until this summer. But I bet we will see new hires in that bid.

This bid is nothing more than creating more CPT positions without hiring off the street. The hiring boom we have see the past few years is pretty much over until at least Summer when they would have to run another bid.

Best explanation is that it’s hiring for retirements, the net 3 planes we get this year, and attrition in 2023.

Anyone know of any v-22 guys at Brown? I know of at least 5 that have been hired at Purple no issue, and I'm tracking SWA is the only airline still not acknowledging v-22 time
