I was one above the plug on the Bus for several bids in 2014. Neither the plug nor I ever held RSV or BTL, started moving up with the remaining recalls that didn't have to show up in ANC for the recall like we did in 2012.

United really doesn't even have that. Closer to 3, 4 day trips out of the calendar month for around 89 hours, at least out of EWR. They used to be 3, 3 day trips but then the company realized that the asia layover could be an extra 24 hours at no cost to them (free reserves in theater, sound familiar?) because the trips pay block and not rig.
The problem we have is we fly over to theatre, but then fly many shorter legs intra-theatre. So block credit goes out the window, and trip-rig becomes the driver.
So what we needed was a 3.5-1 Trip to get an extra day off, same credit. Heck, back in the "day" the majors had a 3 to 1 Trip-rig!!! 8 hours pay per day. ahh, memories.
But I was wondering do any UAL/DL lines have 10 on 20 off flying other than long haul turns?

That's domestic flying. UAL and DL do have many pilots working 9 days on and off 21. But it is all Long Haul. SFO-TLV three day trips. EWR-HKG, etc. 3 trips a month. Worth 75-80 credit.

As for the rest, you're right. Jeez, if our team had only thought of that. Maybe we should have suggested it.
Finally, United and Delta don't have lines, they have pbs. Can you get a 9 day a month domestic schedule? If you are willing to take the pay hit you could but it wouldn't be pretty.

The EB and NC knew about lowering the Trip-rig. They chose not to pursue it. Just like our Intl. override pay. It will be the same amount in 2020 as it was in 2006. Wow! Not a nickel bump? FDX got a increase, not for us though.
12 on/18 off at 85 hours? Sign me up!
The original question was can we get a 10 day trip and off 20 like DL/UAL from Jungle Driver-, and I said No, The Senior one's over there can hold it, PBS or not.

NaCl-Doggie, Seriously? The EB and the NC are smart people. I'm fairly sure they have heard of a Trip-rig. Since it's been around for oh, about 50 years!
They could have lowered it to 3.5-1, but chose not to. Since they knew UPS would fight tooth and nail against it. Did you see or read any information from the IPA towards changing any of our rigs? I didn't. So we will still work 13-14 days out of 28 for 88 hours at straight pay. On Z especially.
