Same experience as boiler for us as well - The accounting laides at the doctors office / hospital initially either think there is a problem when no payment is required or remark something along the lines that our insurance is really, really good. Dentist too, orthodontics, etc.

My wife and I have - more than once. I will concede it often has been a practice's benefits people giving that reaction, and not the actual caregiver (unless in a very small practice).
Clearly YMMV...but our IPA-negotiated health plans are very, VERY good *and* have very reasonably priced premiums, especially when compared to premiums & benefits of most everybody else's plan.

Same here. New doc (old one medicaled out with cancer) and they insisted on collecting $25 copay for each kid (we have three). Yep, gave us a check back for almos $60 of the $75 collected, "we've never had that happen before" was their answer.
Drug dealers, uh I mean pharmacists, can't believe our drug copay, even now! My wife's plan they are $20, 40, 60 for 30 days, we pay that for 90!

I just put in my application and got the screen that says "thanks for applying however we have plenty of applicants for this position" type of message. I have a friend on the inside to give me an internal rec. Will the internal rec make them look at me even if I got that message?
Also got the email to sing up for Stella.
Where do I go from here?

I got that message. After some prodding by my ref. The app went active.....it's a normal thing.
FTFF,
Thank you so much for all of your helpful posts this year trying to objectively present the UPS contract and life at Big Brown. Those posts have been invaluable to me and others as we have been making career plans, hopes and dreams.
