And....... now the two hour wait while it says Processing.
File NCC
---
Violation of Section 25.G.1.c, because the awards are not done continuously nor automatically.
Violations of Section 25.H.1,4 because these are not awarded or denied immediately.
Violation of Section 25.R.1, because these (including float vacation) processes were supposed to be automated at DOS + 6 months. Five years later it still doesn't work.
---
Before you negative rocks rush to blame the union; we need the grievances filed to get something done about it (like the Red/Green arbitration).
If no one complains in written form, collectively, every person with the ability to do something thinks it is working as intended.
I just filed mine. So let's get all 40 people here plus spread the word on the line to get this changed.

File an NCC RIGHT NOW while you are reading these boards. Let's actually do something to hold the company accountable instead of us all complaining; we know how well they 'listen' to that.

I would be a NO as well.
Gotta be higher than JB, we'll be bottom of the rates again if that's all we're getting.
At least 15% DC
Improved LTD
Retain all work rules
75 hr min for line holders, 72 for reserve
Pay rates top out at 12 years
Higher percentage of A321 flying, my god they're putting 228 seats on them
Int'l pay anytime clear customs
Better rigs
Contract length no greater than five years
I'm sure there's some others, can't remember what I put on the survey. These aren't meant as a memo to management, im definitely not on the NC, nor would I ever have the temperament, attitude or skill for it, but this place needs to start acting like a career airline and not a transition airline.

Which brings us back to the question: What is the problem here, a gullible MEC or a fragile company?
It can't be both ways, either the Company was lying about the need for immediate relief which leaves us with the obvious conclusion that the MEC is gullible, or the company was/is so fragile that they needed the relief to survive.
What seems the most likely to you?
How are we NOT screwed either way?
and why the heck does JA talk to us like we are idiots. like we're kids. "wear your alpa pins" f yu.
Frontier's Franke Sees Consolidation in the Future of Low-Cost Carriers - WSJ
Worth a read, and likely gives at least a minor sigh of relief for pilots on both lists, temporarily anyway. Then again, I can't help but think of the first lesson I was taught in this business..."you can tell when they're lying, their lips will be moving".

Many industry observers have speculated that Frontier and Spirit would make good merger partners because of their similar business models, complementary networks and friendly management teams. Mr. Franke stoked speculation in January when he said at an aviation conference that there is room for consolidation among U.S. low-cost carriers.
He reiterated that point earlier this month. “I do believe there will be additional consolidation” among a group of airlines that includes Frontier, Spirit, JetBlue Airways Corp., Alaska Air Group Inc. and Virgin America Inc., he said.
Spirit said in a statement: “We are focused on native growth and we have no plans for merging with any other airline.”
Mr. Franke agreed that a Spirit-Frontier merger isn’t imminent. “Right now they both have a fairly aggressive independent position,” he said. “While we obviously know Spirit management well…there hasn’t really been any formal discussion about the combination of the two airlines.”
Mr. Biffle, Frontier’s president, was blunter: “We have spent zero effort” on consolidation.

Does anyone have the key to cracking the open time code. I'm not senior enough to get a good line in FLL. Nor senior enough to modify it in initial open time. After months of disappointment in open time I changed from bidding on my iPad to using a pc both had hi speed internet connection. Was in the waiting room and started hitting the keys at 12 noon. Final result, 13 requests, hours later 13 denials. What am I doing wrong?

Quick question for current NK pilots, could you provide some bullet point answers regarding your QOL?
-Hard line or PBS
-Ballpark avg days off/credit
-commuter policy?
-quality of overnight hotels, Howard Johnson or SPG?
-scheduling issues? ie, JM's, EX's "fly it, grieve it later" attitude??
-support/culture in CP's office?
Thanks for taking the time...
