They're racists. Over 650 racist attacks on Asian-Americans in the last week because of "funny" or "innocent" comments like those. They're just enabled by our Moron in Chief. No point trying to change their mind. Even facing the possibility of loosing our jobs, they still can't focus on facts. On what's not being done by our Government to keep us safe. On what it didn't do to keep our jobs afloat. So let it go. You can't fix stupid. BTW, not a liberal. Republican as can be.

The economy is in free fall, we fall farther behind the curve in terms of preparedness everyday, and Italy is the hardest hit country of any other country on this planet (we might change that).
The virus effects everyone from every country the same. It is a world-wide pandemic, that is threatening everyones well being - both financially and physically.
If you chose to focus on where it originated, stigmatizing the Chinese rather than focus of fighting it, you have to ask yourself why that is being done. In this country, this tactic of constantly tying it china is used to deflect blame on another country rather than take responsibility for our own leaders lack of actions. "I don't take responsibility at all".
We also have a long history of doing this in this country... calling diseases like HIV the "gay plague", and delaying our response to it until millions were dead. I don't fall into that group, so whatever!

Regardless someone(s) with the financial heft to do it still wants to run an airline. Time will tell if that remains true through all this.
My worry has nothing to do with the financial ‘capacity’ behind the curtain but as to whether those folks still want to play the game. If they want to play now is the perfect time for their well honed, successful playbook. Time will tell. It’s the ride of a lifetime

It's not that you can't say it came from China. But don't pretend it doesn't have consequences. People will be irresponsible and blame Chinese people writ large when it is not the fault of Chinese people writ large. It's not even the fault of Wuhan. Just call it Covid-19 please.
