Meanwhile, United President Scott Kirby said at an employee town hall meeting Thursday that the carrier was losing more than $100 million in sales per day.
Kirby also said that he no longer expects a quick rebound — or a recovery within a matter of months — from the pandemic. And the carrier was making a base assumption that demand would fall around 30% during the fourth quarter.

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway(BRKB) has sold off millions of shares of Delta Air Lines (DAL) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) over the past few days, regulatory filings showed on Friday. That sent Delta stock, Southwest stock and other airline stocks lower after hours.

You are being an idiot. Nobody knows what is going to happen or what Alaska will ultimately do but you, a pilot, feel you are some kind of oracle. Let the union do their jobs and quit freaking guys out. You're messing with their lives while hiding behind a chatroom name. This is a major distraction for many and serves no purpose.
Ok, I love it. So everyone stop writing anything on these boards and the Union will be able to circumnavigate the furlough and the extremely negative financial pressures on our industry. Not a peep and we will be soon hiring thousands, making Delta plus 40%. Oh to just believe!

Would second that....Kotzebue and MEA are both SEA types....Maybe instructors or one of the many khaki-clad hall wanderers that were hired as pilots but are afraid to fly. Cannot fathom why anyone debates them unless for the pure sport of it. The SEA crowd has always run strong on instructor-meeting rumors or top secret memos shared at the “Tides”... No secret why to all of us not in or from SEA for at least the last 25 years have known that place as the “Swirling Vortex of Hate, Jealousy and Animosity”....Ton of those smug little weasels running around there.....Fun to poke at but never taken seriously...

Hey man... OTZ is like really smart and stuff. He has so many friends, and if he told us who those friends are we like totally wouldn't even believe him. Did you know he has a boat and lots of investments? He's really smart that's why... His southwest pilot neighbor comes over weekly to tell him how smart he is and admire his money pile.
We better be careful not to upset him or else we might lose this beacon of enlightened knowledge and insider information!
