Bid packs were posted early afternoon. I only looked at the SEA - 403 lines with average days off sitting at 14.17.

They typically do a good job of getting the bid packets posted by Thursday as opposed to the Friday (before the first Tuesday of the month). The ETB list is never posted Thursday, they get that posted Friday.

How much you want to bet April 1 ends up being a Blackout day.

That should have no bearing on how many people are working vs not working

Agreed. FWIW…. I’m a commuter and I’ll be using my first day of vacation to be on the line.

worst reserve system in the entire airline industry ...
just buy a $2500 travel trailer from a junkyard and move it to the parking lot of one of our fabulous highly affordable and family-friendly bases: SEA, PDX, SFO, LAX or ANC... plan on washing your under bloomers in the sink of a public bathroom .. eating vending sushi.... and never getting a day off that you planned on... (because you are sub-human aka reserve pilot)
but the bonus is getting a call from a "scheduler" who loathes you because you get 11 days off a month and they only get 8....
Welcome to Alaska all of the new fresh meat!!!!! You get to come to fly "the jet"..... (Barbi jets and the airbus don't count as actual jet flying ...only the fish hauler counts.....)

PS .... I had better reserve work rules in 1988 at a bottom feeder commuter airline....

Would it be a fair guess this new vacancy bid is delayed because of the UKR/RUS war and oil price skyrocketing?

If we wait for the perfect time to make any moves, we'll never move.

Wait. That explains it all.
