Or you could help the cause and wait to apply until after the dust settles. Just a thought.

Hope everything works out for the pilot group here! Just short of mins here. Ex "old junk" corporate and current regional 121 guy. How much do you guys typically fly a month, junior bases, and Outlook for the mad dog?

Thanks! Stay strong!

Hours per month depends on base and equipment, but could be 80-110 depending on the month. Junior base is the homeless base. The 80 isn't going anywhere for a while.

Durden speaks truth...the only problem that you might have is whether or not the company continues to pay for the hotel while you are in Vegas. Realistically, if the strike happens and continues prior to the class, you won't come out. If it happens during class and is protracted, we still don't know what will happen in terms of the company removing the pilot group from CASS. The union reps I spoke to seemed to think that this would not be a problem and those stuck in Vegas could make it out if need be.

Usually when a strike happens, the company pulls its pilots out of CASS immediately. Usually all airlines let the pilots on strike jumpseat in the cabin though so you are not stuck. Vegas might be tough as your passengers will probably fill up all the remaining seats.

The Spirit MEC has already let us know we can accomodate G4 guys in the cabin should the company pull you from CASS.

Good luck! We're pulling for ya!

I haven't found Vegas to be too bad for nonrevving. It's a heckuva lot better than Tucson was.

If it becomes an issue of CASS. The pilot group at VX already has seen that issue coming. Communications from our Jumpseat coordinator have already gone out. You guys are always welcome on our airplanes. We may not be able to get you in the flight deck, but we will get you home.

Out of Vegas we currently have daily flights to:

SFO
LAX
JFK
BOS
