Facts or not? If I'm reading this correctly, that is a huge part of why this thread is a joke. Everything posted here is only part truth.

Also, whats the QOL like there. I read a while ago that its not that good, but that was over a year ago. Is it still all day lines out of the bases? I went back about 20 pages and there was nothing about this. thanks guys. I don't know anyone there to ask
As other people said, upgrade is so short because of QOL. It's horrible if you're anywhere close to the bottom of the list in certain bases. Even if you live in base you can get a phone call for a 3 week TDY reserve assignment sending you across the country without the opportunity to come home. On top of this, when you're inconvenienced with getting TDY'd involuntarily, you'll be at the mercy of the travel department if you get a rental car and a descent hotel. Per diem is $1/hr. Good luck living off of $24/day without being able to cook your own meals. On top of this, when you have a concern about the lack of a rental car or quality of hotel you are labeled as a complainer and there has been instances where a certain BCP has taken away rental cars from crew members for complaining.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and doesn't even start with how disfunctional the operation is and the responsibility of keeping it all together falls on the shoulders of the captain. When something is missed (no matter how good you are, even the sharpest of pilots make mistakes) you will be called into LAS to have a "debrief."

This is why upgrade is short. Good luck if that is what you want. If you're planning on moving on from G4 after you get your TPIC time, be very weary. There are a lot of ways that G4 can add a blemish to your record that will prevent you from leaving to a legacy.

Fixed it slightly, hope you don't mind.

You walk into an ambush (VC Style), the safety department reps got all the FDR and CVR stuff. They ask questions they already have the answers to. Like when a cop tries to get you to lie. Allegiant safety department downloads all FDR and CVR information at will. No gatekeeper here baby. And do so randomly throughout the system. Like when a certain so and so was called in for landing halfway down the runway in; starts with maybe a “b” ends with "?". Yikes, come to think of it I hope they don't download the cvr from one of my airplanes, I just happened to be talkin smack about all this APC stuff I write, screen name and all.. Darn..Ya riiiight.

No one is going to dig thru 400 pages of bitterness and admitted half truths. Every airline has this type of guys and you instantly are ignored. Can we let this thread die? It's the weekend at Bernie's APC party here and no one cares. Stok1, sounds like you did something stupid and got called on it. Funny, the only ones I know who have had CVRs pulled are serious issues. You don't agree with how they handled your situation and now you are on here making crap up? And I was wondering why you can't get a job anywhere else........

Blue Angels will be at NAS Oceana this weekend.
Alert to Allegiance: Do not try to land there that day.
Over.

I have to agree. There must be more to the story. If it were true more then likely the crew would face a lifetime revocation of their certificates. I don't see anyone taking that kind of risk.

Thank you very much for the info. I have to really look at this. I've heard it's pretty awful.
