Sometimes good things happen to good people and no one knows why.
With that kind of time I'd apply to everyone else that is hiring.

I'd post a pic, but I'm fumbling to get the file size small enough.

It's a full page spread, signed by "Your Friends At Allegiant," the maintenance professionals who go on to describe their commitment to company, community and safety. Not chump change, I'm sure. There must be a perceived PR problem, at least in Hawaii.
That's very interesting, heard from a friend that at a recent recurrent JB stopped by and admitted they had pulled the plug on Hawaii too soon, that it could still be a profitable market and that he was looking into using the 319's from some west coast cities to serve Hawaii.

If they actually did spend that money on the ad, it may be for good reason.

You gotta go to one of their meet and greets. I've stated on here a few times that the ONLY thing allegiant is definitely looking for are individuals that really want to be here (at least seemingly so). Since I've put my contact info out there on various forums, I've had guys contact me from every experience level, from 1400 hours (no joke, just got a phone interview though, told to reapply at 2500) to 3000 hrs (regional FO, nothing special, went to 2 meet and greets over a year, got hired), to 10k hours. Clearly I don't know all their hiring tactics, but I do know the interview goes something like this "why allegiant, why allegiant, why allegiant". Go to a job fair or meet and greet (the latter is free and held every 3 or 4 months) and see if your luck changes

The ad ran in several major markets.

You are over qualified. Try down playing your resume and I bet they call you. LCC airlines are in a predicament where someone comes in, gets a type rating, then leaves for a legacy. They probably do not feel you will stay.

For those I'd you who haven't been here more than 3+ years. I'll save you some energy. The bid will be posted when the bid is posted. They never do things when they claim they will. Deadlines often come and go. I have seen it happen time and time again and I'm sure it will happen again. I've seen dates pass by up to 3 weeks. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed...

I suggest instead of enabling this kind of culture you should contact your superiors and ask where the bids are. 700 phone calls and emails will have an impact.
