This thing will top out in the 230's and be a very respectable first contract.
$230/hr is within spitting distance of top legacy pay for our equivalent equipment. That plus guaranteed yearly raises would work.
It's the other, soft cost items I'm eager to peek at.

I hope the majority focus was on everything else but pay. Pay will come easily as competition heats up. We will have to live with this for probably 10 years (5 year contract plus 5 years negotiations as a guess). Pay will be the easiest thing to reopen.

How about we skip all the "from what I've heard", "in my opinion", "I'm guessing" and wait to read the TA when it comes out? For goodness sake, stop and use common sense. We can guess all day long and spread rumors of what "someone told us that someone else said that someone in the know told me" crap. How about we be cautiously optimistic and wait to read the dang thing.

Let's see this was a "first contract" that was negotiated over 3.5 years and I'll play devil's advocate and say it could just as well be a 3 year contract . So no, we won't have to live with it for 10 years.

Why the delay in releasing the TA? It's the same at every airline. I'm just curious why they need to wait so long to release something that is already finished?

Because it's not finished. They need to take negotiating short hand and turn it into presentable information.
