-Having to call after a RSV assignment for release while they have up to an hour to reassign you something. Thats not even 117 legal from what I can see. I set the brake I'm done FDP-wise.
-Dropped for IOE (ROE obligation) doesn't limit you to your original trip duty footprint nor can you just refuse it anymore.
-Positive contact is spelled out very well and many are concerned it's too vague and no better than now.
-Base fleet transition is now a system wide bid rather than base first.
-Equipment lock language is contradictory.
This is just off the top of my head so far. The language is SUPER WEAK. For three years we've been promised a contract we can be proud of and that raises the bar. I'm sorry, but this TA as it stands is NOT that contract and why I'm a solid NO VOTE.

My argument isn't that we aren't growing. I'm saying that the company beats us down for a few years, then we become disillusioned with promises of growth and an ever-expanding airline, getting new planes, new routes, plus an offer for more money, and we fall for it, again sans work rules.

If you try and claim that your rest the night before was predicated on a short easy day and that you're fatigued, they'll require a fatigue report and ask why you were not fulled rested for a complete FDP period.

Wrong, unfortunately. You're not the first airline to require reservists to call upon landing. It has been interpreted as your FDP was extended without you knowing, your call is just to remind the company to notify you. You don't need to know of your additional flying while in flight, and your approval in not required until 117 extension is required.

And you can call in fatigued at any time. As long as it's not predicted. I was fully rested when I started my FDP and good to go for the day. I can't predict whether I'll be fatigued or not at the end of it.

Well that may be, but I have an FAA interpretation that says nothing about being able to extend me without notification. Until I see that in writing, without notification prior my FDP ends when I set the brake. Long story short, I'm not accepting a RSV assignment extension.

There is a FAA LOI that states that, essentially, you can be reassigned as much as the company would like up to your FDP max. They queried the setting brake and being done scenario but determined if your CBA states that the company has up to an hour to reassign you, it is legal per 117. Read the Marc Anderson-Teamsters LOI from 2014
At least one of the decent spots of this TA says they can't extend you more than 4 hours past the end of your trip pairing. So there's not much, if anything really, they can assign a person. And if they try and you just happen to be too tired at that point to continue, oh well.

That's actually the exact letter I was referring to. After reading it again in this context I can see where you're coming from. I don't know that I agree with it, but it does actually appear you can be held on FDP without notification prior to setting the brake. Just one more reason I don't like the TA language making you call in to be released. Now we just walk off the plane and are done.

I understand the idea that we have weak work rules on this TA. Bear in mind what we do get beyond the pay.
Here is what I will get beyond pay...
4 weeks vacation
Around 150 hours sick time in year one
10% 401k
Solid merger protection
Scope
200% Mission Mode (and the ability to pick it up again now that we have a TA)
Home Study pay
12 guaranteed days off 9 months of the year
Better and cheaper insurance
Lineholder can't be placed on reserve
Band system gone
Keep 130% override after 81 hours
2/1 trip rigs
4hr min pay overnights
Training Pay now 4 hours instead of $80
Profit Sharing
Look I get that our work rules are bad in many places, but I'm tired of hearing it's all pay and no work rules. There are indeed benefits beyond pay so this is not the same as our buy out to reject ALPA.
