In other words, we're moving in the right direction by replacing the MD-80 with the airbus. Yes. We are. Of course the Mx issues are decreasing. That was the 'Fing idea, genius.

yeah, and the employee stock repurchase is on Monday so the timing is/was awesome! I read the whole earnings transcript including all the analyst questions and I'm concluding its overblown; just the market's reaction to a surplus of supply at the moment (thereby putting downward pressure on ticket prices). A short term problem in my opinion. JB and gang did state many times that the focus in 2017 is performance and fleet modernization, so there really isn't any growth forecasted until late 3rd and 4th quarter 2017.
Anyone interested in Allegiant, I encourage you to read over the earnings reports and especially the analyst questions. It's sometimes scary how smart JB is in his answers. Albeit he's still a corporate big wig (to be minimally trusted), I haven't seen one smarter! You'll get a real good feel for allegiant reading through its investor information.

That's a fairly common move for a mid-cap stock after an earnings report. Considering the stock just run up 13% in the last 3 weeks to a price per earnings much higher than what's average in the industry, it was priced for perfection on earnings day.

Also, it's very strange for a company to beat analysts quarterly forecast and then drop significantly in value.
