Oh brother... crxpilot if you cannot see that ALG was having a disproportionate number of inflight emergencies over the last few years, fortunately all professionally handled by their skilled pilots, then there is really no way to improve your company. Thankfully your just a cool-aid drinking line pilot that probably has no control in wether ALG prioritizes MX or not so hopefully after their early FAA inspection at least mgmt has gotten the message.
If a company can dispatch an aircraft to a NOTAM'd closed airport and when it reaches said airport doesn't have but emergency gas left, so no divert, well that right there shows a few systemic problems in a company, and it apparently starts right at the dispatchers.
Hopefully ALG has turned the corner and decided that it's going to be an airline with airline type expenses instead of squeezing every last penny out of the operation and depending on pilots using their skills and due diligence to repeatedly bail them out.

Don’t you think it could be disproportionately high because we fly a disproportionate number of old md 80’s? Yes, they are OLD… old planes do weird things (vast majority of “emergencies” have been on the 80). It is not like flying a brand new 737. It may come as a surprise to you, but I haven’t carried more than 2 MEL’s at a time. Every issue I have had has been promptly dealt with. Do you think it could also be a disproportionate number of low time captains in the left seat for the first time? I think that might be true in some instances.
Not trying to make excuses… I am just stating my observations. It is simply not to the degree of “systemic” that you convey! I worked for a “penny squeezing” regional and it sure isn’t like that!

Yeah that doesn't make sense. Nov is already supposed to be 24-28 and they want a similar size in Dec. I wonder if he means they want another 800 by the end of 2018 making the list around 1400-1500. That would make a lot more sense.

Not much life left in that sinking boat of a company. Looks like the cockroach is finally going to be killed off.
Im guessing RC received a rejection letter from Allegiant?
He has been trolling the Spirit and Kalitta boards.
Probably wiping the tears away with his rejection letters from those places as well while his mesa life boat is quickly taking on water.

Just be yourself on the video thing and look respectable… in other words, don’t do it by the pool in your tank and trunks. I’ve heard it asks 3 questions: Why Allegiant, any failures, any violations? I think you get 3 attempts per question. I know nothing about the questionnaire, sorry.
The sim evaluation is piece-o-cake. Expect 757 or 80 sim, small talk to put you at ease, takeoff and level off with no autopilot or auto throttles, autopilot on, given hold instructions, determine entry. Vectors to ILS. After stabilized, automation and FD come off, breakout around 500 feet and land. You don’t need to know profiles, flaps settings, or anything. You just fly. It’s to make sure your scan still exits after flying glass.
I interviewed 2015. Info may be old.
