Usually this means in corporate/union tango that the company has fired someone or people on either trumped up allegations, or on an illegitimate basis in order to get the union to spend negotiating capital for their release (reinstatement). It's been used many times over the course of union/mgmt bargaining history.

What are considered competitive hours these days at Allegiant? Can a new hire FO hold SFB right away?

So, they're FINALLY releasing the seat locks for LAX and VBD Airbus CA slots...would've been nice to have done so for the most recent bid as well so the Midwesterners could get much closer to home at CVG & PIT!! I'm surprised they're pay-protecting the FOs that are going to be delayed upgrade now.

From the numbers I saw before I left, about 50 last year. I would say the same or more this year.

It's been going up every year for the last three or four years.

It's ironic in the letter it said basically he's responsible for safety but when the S hit the fan they said he needed approval of controllers to evacuate. Maybe this is the reason why allegiant is hiring anyone that shows up.

Allegiant fires Capt. K for creating bad publicity.....
Wonder what they are thinking now?

Good piece on GMA aired just after 0730 EDT this morning.
Hope the good Captain gets em' for a BOAT LOAD in his suit.$$$$
