Not picking on you Vette, but I heard a rumor about conspiracies yesterday, apparently Allegiant's CP believes his "buddies" have been "blocked" from getting jobs at a certain other airline.
If thats the case maybe said individuals conspiracy theories come from the fact that he junked up a couple departing pilot PRIA reports after they had already got another job, when confronted he apologized. No word if they have been corrected.
Something to consider if you are going to dip your toe in here at Allegiant for a little jet time before moving on: Your PRIA report may walk away with an STD!

SFB is basically the Reserve Base for all of FL. SFB crews are consistently covering for all the other bases when things go FUBAR. Ferrys, MX Repos, Larry Limo all-over, Rescues...all kinds! A SFB 80 even recently rescued a LAS 757 in MFE, leaving behind one FA and several pax due to the down-gauge in aircraft.

I know of one example of our flight department lying and putting a bust that didn't happen in someone's PRIA after they left G4. It did end up getting sorted out and the victim didn't lose his new job, although he did end up doing the carpet dance for no reason at his new gig. I can only hope he filed a lawsuit.
Names, dates, and the new employer (no it wasn't DL) have been withheld for obvious reasons.

How do they decide which passengers to leave behind in a situation like that? Do they ask for volunteers and if that doesn't get it done they use the order of checkin? (those checking in last got left behind)

Quick question or two.... I've got a phone interview tomorrow.....
1. Scheduling- what are most off the trips like out of LAS? Daylines, 2 days, 3 days?
2. Is the LAS base on MD 80?
3. What is attrition running per month including retirements?
4. I saw that upgrades are about a year if you're willing to go to jr. base, what are upgrades in LAS?
OK, that was more than two, I just would prefer to have these answers before the interview.
Thanks
St
P.S. anyone with any recent phone interview experience that has any advice, please share.

LAS is a relatively senior base and all MD80 and 757 (until they phase it out). It has been stated that it will be the last Airbus base.
They don't update the seniority list often enough to know attrition but there are no retirements to speak of.
There are no overnights in LAS as has been stated repeatedly in prior threads. If you are asking about how many days trips are then I suggest you take an hour or two and read them. There is a lot you need to know.
Betting on upgrade times is risky. I was told 18 months and it took six years for me here. Too many moving parts to know that with any accuracy.
Best of luck whatever you decide.

If you are looking to be based in LAS, you'd best be older to improve your chances. Ditto Labbats, read the rest of the thread...
