No worries, they are screaming bloody murder, but they'll vote yes at the end of the day.

Typical (internet) tough guys.

The TA hasn’t been published yet. So you just wasted some good condescending questions for nothing.

How is that condescending? Sorry to offend you, just asking questions. We call it "retro" at Delta because we didn't get true retro pay except for 2023.

I think we all need to stop looking at Delta's contract and just ask ourselves, "Is this a good contract for us?". The grass ain't always greener. There are a lot of wins in this AIP and there are some things we're asking for that we're not going to get without giving up something else. Let's wait for more details and contractual language before we throw tomatoes. I'm not sure where I stand on this yet, but my gut feeling is that this will pass easily. Remember, this travel bubble we're experiencing right now is going to pop. I can't see the demand for travel continuing at these levels forever. If we vote "NO", where does that leave us? Mediation? How long does that take? 18-24 months? Are all of the things we're not getting in this contract worth waiting 18-24 months for with no guarantees we'd get them anyway?

FIFTY?? JFC, that’s not even worth filling out the paperwork for. NK is $2K/week after tax, costs about $15/check, 30 day elimination, LTD after 90 OTTOMH.

Rest sounds pretty solid from the bottom looking up.

truth is if you’re making 200k/year+ and don’t have your house in order to last 60 days without a job (and paying out your sick time possibly) then your finances are not in order

but yes it’s ass.

You mean something like this? Yeah we’ve had that forever. Good for 12 months even while collecting LTD if you choose. Don’t have to take all 12 month consecutively either. And LTD kicks in at 60 days now, not 90. This is through APA.

And this is probably how the company sees it.

That is okay. Less than half of what we have, for more than twice the premium, but nice that you can do it with the LTD. And APA offers it because the company didn't.......
But why even have the $50? It would make sense for APA to use it for public shaming or getting rid of it. But that is just MO.
