our group had never used this site as much. Facebook and the line are where all the action is. Plenty of “NO” on Facebook posts, and the line is more nuanced. With the way the board steered the NC in this round, it will certainly pass (13-7 or 14-6). I actually don’t think it’s a slam dunk to pass membership. Gun to my head it will, but I’m at a US Air base with a lot of tenured dudes that want a bump before they pull chocks. My gut is 60-40 yes as of this moment.

What’s “ECS Electronic Communications System”?

sounds like IPad scheduling notifications… by bye ACARS notifications, but now you get them on the iPad instead…. Hopefully not that but if so that would not be good.

I believe I saw 55 days tossed about. They’re targeting the first or second of August for signing. I forget which.

Copy. I'm not on FaceBook. No, it's not a slam dunk, but the seniors don't need a slam dunk. They need more money, more 401k contributions and the MBCBP helps them out as well. The company knows what they're doing. They hire the best to negotiate. They don't want us taking more sick time, hence why they didn't up the accrual and offered the HSA to the seniors. Most have enough sick time to work half their line for their last 12 months on property and still walk out with $200k in the HSA. Seniors don't deadhead. Who's deadheading the most? Juniors on reserve. Big profit sharing and higher pay rates could be worth $1M+ to anyone in the last five years. Music to a lot of ears. What are our options? Vote "NO" and go to mediation? See you in 2025 if that happens. I agree that this will past in a heart beat. We're at the end of the line.

Knowing pilots there'll be tons of ways to get around that.

UAL guy here. Just curious about one minor issue. I'm still not clear on the retro being offered. Has your union put out something to clarify? I've heard 21% for 3 months of '23, and at the same time I've heard 18% for all of '23.

it’s the last 3 months before signing at 21%. This is the only portion for 2023. The reasoning is Delta got 3 months so that’s all we get. The lower percentages you see are guys doing math on what you’re actually getting for all your wages in ‘23. I think it works out to like 9% if this thing goes active 1 August.

Thanks for the info.

If I were an AA pilot that wouldn't make me vote no, of course, but man that seems like real nickle and dime crap on the part of management.
