Considering our STD will still suck, the sick time accrual is an issue for me as well. The company knows what they're doing. This agreement was designed to get the top 1/3 of the company to vote "YES" and they'd roll the dice on at least getting 18% of the bottom 2/3 voting YES as well.
So the big question is - what happens if, by chance (most likely no chance), this gets voted down?

It's good enough for now. The bar was set real low to begin with so I'm not sure how much we could all expect. "Industry Leading" was never in the cards for us aside from "pay tables". This came right from the horses mouth.... Isom. Delta's old contract was worlds ahead of ours to begin with.

I've seen enough. It is a no vote for me. Pay is the easy part and AA was already willing to do that. But other than that there are no meaningful QOL gains.

No penalty for middle seat deadhead
no improvement to TTS
No improvement to sick
no improvement to pairing credit
no snap up
vacation improvement underwhelming
Jumpseat not included into BOW
RO improvements underwhelming
many concessions including reserve, SIT time now over 2.5 hours
no backpay by those screwed by 401K first year or pay date differences
"industry leading pairing construction" is a lie
no improvement to STD. Really still $50 a week?
Now your turn, tell me the significant QOL gains

copy that on the pay anniversary. I just meant the 401k contributions that are mentioned “for new hires”. I assume that means for new hires, company will now contribute on day 1 instead of after a year.
just curious what happens to someone who is in their sixth month for example. Contributions start from contract DOS onwards? I’d assume there’s no “retro” on the 401k.

the 401k and pay issues shouldn’t have to be an ask by the union, that should be directed to the management and recruitment efforts
given this AIP will likely pass, because some guys who have 30 years here can’t keep their finances in order and need a big check to get to their ex wives, it’ll be a hit to recruitment when guys come on here and ask something not about our bases
Im a commuter and will be for life. Our crews are great and I really do love what I di
but it’s amusing to see people attracted to a shiny pay apple but don’t want to watch their kids grow up. guess we will see where this vote leads us if it gets past the BOD, but sounds like isom will get his 50+1 for the next 10 years
