The most-junior DFW 320 FO line holder- for December - was a July 2023 hire.

As long as we keep hiring, these should continue to drop.

With that being said, my May ‘23 classmates based in DFW got reserve this past summer. But agreed, hiring = movement

DFW 320 is pretty much the most senior NB FO base at American. It’s very commuter friendly—once the commuter holding a line in XYX can hold a line in DFW, they make the switch. Best base for utilizing TTS successfully. FO 737 drivers are notorious for biding 320 after 3-4 years in the guppy because they can hold a decent schedule on the 320 AND can’t hold DFW WB FO. A lot of pilots desire to live and retire in Dallas/Frisco/Fort Worth (They’ll call it DFFW eventually).

I’m on that boat, kinda. Now MIA320 but thinking about DFW, I was based there in the past with a different airline and that Frisco, Flower Mound area is really nice. There you can buy a beautiful house and here you can a tent for that money 😂
Anyways, the TTS flexibility due to size is massive.

Gross… the only thing the burbs have going for them is the abundance of hockey rinks. It’s a shame we can’t get one in the city of Dallas.

I never thought I'd live to see the day that someone was complaining about there not being enough hockey rinks... in TEXAS...

You can’t afford Frisco or Flower Mound these days on an FO salary.
