CLT 737 is one of the most if not the most senior NB bud status at AA. 1 year seat lock for new hires (can withhold up to 1 year beyond that) 2 years for everyone else. Not sure about hours, you’ll have plenty assuming you don’t go on extended leave.

No one (or very few) gets withheld for FO to Captain upgrades. But also no one is upgrading at the 1 year mark anyway. I would love to get withheld for a year as a senior FO making captain money.

Actually, I got a buddy who was withheld last year on the 737 DCA, started collecting Cpt pay in Dec of 24, and began training in August of 25. He was living large during that period.

Finally sitting on a guaranteed line, 1-3 day trips and the days off that I ask for. Gonna soak it up all I can until I upgrade and ruin everything.
