For comparison, I'm about 70-75% in PHX. In LGA I'd be 5%.

. PHX is extra senior. Can all the original west guys hold group 2 captain somewhere?

LGA is a tough place for commuters. If any kind of weather hits, that place tanks way faster than anywhere else.

As of May bids the Airbus has all three airports to cover.
EWR is officially on the roster. The New Jersey and PA pilots may like it.

Expensive transportation costs, hotels, multiple airports to cover, expensive places to live, traffic, and a host of other things make it a real headache of a base. It will continue to get more and more junior. Add to all the troubles the new PBS bids and a junior pilot will not get any weekends off.

Just look at how junior MD88 Captain goes at Delta. I don't think AA will get that junior but close. The fact it is an MD88 is part of it.

No. The bottom 20% (of the former West FOs) of cannot... but if LGA 737 CA keeps trending down who knows.

Heads up applicants. They've changed their Certifications page on the Pilotcredentials site. Now ATP is split; you can select either unrestricted or restricted. Mine defaulted to unrestricted, which was correct, but make sure yours is updated as appropriate.

The bottom LGA CA on the last bid isn't far ahead of me so it has to be close. No way I'm doing it though. This PA guy isn't crossing that moat to get to work. Whatever's in PHL is what's on my bid.

Good catch - and drives a question that I can't get a straight answer on. I'm soon to be separating military, and have a restricted ATP due to total time (fighter guy.) Over 1000 TPIC, but less than 1500 TT. The fabled .3 multiplier would put me over the TT, which is obviously useless with the FAA and having the restriction removed.

I digress...the question is - anyone know if AA will interview/hire with a restricted ATP?
