Shrinking fleet by I think 30 but the fleet is 6 years newer on avg compared to DL and about 8 months newer than UAL. AA still will have 930ish aircraft. Plus look at the WB comparison between AA and Delta, AA has about 40 or so more 777 and they are taking delivery of 12 787's this year.
Point is all 3 Legacies are good in their own way. It just depends on what you personally are going for, domicile, aircraft, number of retirees ahead of you, pay or contract. Contracts and CEO's come and go in a 30 year career.
Anyone getting hired now at the Legacies will have a great career.

Definitely take other interviews/offers IF they meet your wants/needs. I'm in the "queue" for F2F with AA however, got a SWA interview invite now. Not going to turn that down. My primary goal is PHX so I didn't apply for UAL or DAL.

Bases come and go. I wouldn't turn down a chance at United or Delta to hold out for a Phoenix base with AA or Southwest.

Each his own....UAL & DAL would be great and everyone I know is getting hired at DAL. However, I didn't want to burn those bridges. Both AA & SWA have PHX so sticking with my plan. If hiring wasn't so rampant at every airline I MIGHT have applied for all.

The total deliveries by the end of 2018 will be the same.

Was - 13, 12, 9, 7.
Now - 13, 8, 13, 8.

Fleet count is down 3%. (984 to 954?? by end of 2016).

How many hours were the spares and older a/c flying?

Block hours is how we get paid.

Making billions so any reductions will be small.
