Default Binding arbitration

"American Airlines Inc. employees will get 4 percent across-the-board pay raises, including unionized employees if their union has a joint contract covering both American and US Airways employees.

At the same time, American announced that it is sending its pilot contract to binding arbitration after more than a month of negotiations with the Allied Pilots Association.

Included in the group getting the 4 percent raise are American’s flight attendants, who will get that increase on top of the higher wages included in a joint contract finalized last week."

Terry Maxon | Dallas Morning News

Merry Christmas to all from Jerry Glass.

P.S. I bet two months pay that the LAX reps where informed yesterday.

Thanks alot APA! Thanks for giving up thousands in pay for us!

This is BS. Fire all the reps that allowed this to happen!

Of course everyone familiar with Glass knew this was coming. This is when it gets interesting. Here is where the tremblers try to lead a revolt to beg everyone to just capitulate. The LAX reps got tipped off and ran to the other side already. They are calling for everyone else to jump ship. The food is great, and the caviar is to die for...

Recalls to reshape the APA BOD will be next. Who can win the recall war?

My answer to Parker is "No". My answer to scheduling is "Tell my voice mail about YOUR POTA problem." I don't care how much s!ht we hear from the tremblers. No more concessions.

The current contract we have with the automated pay raises is just fine by me. The company is making $7B next year and they don't have to share a penny of it. Im ok with that.

Lets move on and start the recalls.

Call Kirby. He will tell you who to recall. Or call Jerry Glass for a more direct answer. He has a play book for you.

You want concessions for others and pay for yourself. Glass knows your heart. Just give in to it.

Envoy caved giving the 175's a place to go. I cannot help think there was linkage here. The 175's would have been converted to 190's flown at mainline

The company was not asking for much in return for the huge pay raise offered. I would accept making 23% more next year in exchange for the miniscule things they wanted.

These union chest thumpers just cost me approximately $24,000 in pay next year.

Sorry. It's not my heart. It's the math. Oh, the 4% over and above for EVERYONE? Go complain to everyone NOW about how bad management is to pilots and tell me how that plays out.

The press assault is starting....and it isn't favoring us.

FYI.
