Say this to the family and friends of the Captain who got killed by that guy in that crash. They will tell you if the HR is doing a great job or not in your company.

Shape up or quit aviation altogether. As is you're not employable at a Pt. 61 flight school. Seek therapy and pull yourself together.

It very likely did come out in the interview. He’s obviously got a personal vendetta against Atlas for some strange reason. It’s likely he’s not telling the full story about his phone screening. More than likely he was probably getting defensive about something on his resume (or missing from it), training/checkride history, job history, etc, etc. or maybe a bad reference. Idk but his experience seems like a one off, definitely fishy.
- Delta
- United
- JetBlue
- Atlas
…and NONE hired you?
With Airbus PIC time and two Master Degrees?
Yeah, that’s a personality issue or you resigned from a class that you omitted to tell them during the interview.
From your first ever post here May 2022:
The thing is If stay here for one-two years more, I will be upgraded as a Captain. However, I don't see any future in this toxic working environment for myself. My dream is to work for FEDEX or DELTA. Hence, I would also be happy working for SPIRIT or FRONTIER in Fort Lauderdale. I am also okay with cargo carriers such as ATLAS and KALITTA. However, I am not sure how long it may take in these companies to be upgraded as Captain

Their filter has been adversely affected by that guy and that crash, and it is irritating. No one wants to get filtered from a point of view of an accident. They are not looking for skilled pilots, they are looking for pilots who will not crash. Their perspective is not correct. I don't want job offer from a company with a HR rep saying `Is there anything you would like to say now, we are gonna do background checks anyway, before we come with a job offer.`. How to answer this question: yes or no? Which one of these answers could be a satifying answer?
As a relatively new pilot at Atlas, and with several friends behind me, I can say that I have not heard anyone portray the HR interview as anything other than a professional conversation. If the are asking "are you sure" or referencing a background check I would think that you already raised their red flags either with your personality or previous answers.
Good luck elsewhere

Unless you actually are family of the fallen, standing on their graves to bash an airline that rejected you on an Internet forum shows the absolute scum bag you are. You are proof that our hiring department is working.

How the hell could you say their filter is adversely affected? They are trying to weed out incompetence and potential personality conflicts. Trying to emphasize a culture of safety and responsibility is a pretty great metric for a hiring department. THEIR perspective isn't the issue...

Atlas certainly changed their selection processes and have continued to refine them for the last few years. Since the accident there have probably been at least 10,000 pilots screened and thousands hired.
You can read reviews on the various interview resource sites on the internet and you will see that the responses on the HR portion of the interview are overwhelming positive. In fact, this is the only conversation that I have seen to reflect a large degree of negativity.
As others have stated it seems the screening may have actually netted the proper result, ta ta for now.

Should I apply now or wait a few months?
Hi,
Completely unrelated to the conversation above, I currently work as a BE-99 Captain at Ameriflight and I am only about 200 hours away (or about 3-4 months) from atp mins with my ATM written done. Should I put in an application now and continually update it or wait until I have ATP mins?

Best case the whole process takes the 3-4 months you need.
They’ll likely offer you the 73.
