Got the call for the April 1st 747 class as well!
Fortunately my swim in the pool lasted only 3 days. Great things are happening with this company, and I just feel fortunate to be joining the ranks.
A huge thank you to all those who contributed to this thread. Good luck to those still hoping.
Congratulations to all the fellow new hires. See you all at the iconic "grill", if it even exists!

I can guarantee you the grill exists. Whether or not you use it is you to you and your Class. We've had a few nights at the grill that have ended early and a few others that end up in a cab. It's all up to you. Congrats and welcome. We'll still be here when you arrive.

Brrrr!
After my seven trips to Thule I've stopped calling any weather in the contiguous US "cold", it's only "chilly"!
This picture must have been taken in the late Spring. First, the sun is up; and second, I never saw the ocean thawed when I was there!

Thule is actually very cool.
Painted runway, "30 days of night", I was constantly looking for vampires, feeling like a rock star at the bar (we were the only crew in there for a good amount of time), not as cold as Manas, but cold nonetheless.

Top of the World Club? Not much in the way of other places to go...
Did anyone ever teach the folks at Dundas how to cook a burger without completely drying it out by flipping and pressing over, and over, and over?
Oh, well... It's still the most interesting stamp in my passport.
