Interviewed in the first week of Feb, no word yet. A buddy on the inside called HR for some other reasons and asked about how long it maybe before we hear anything. This was the end of last week, he was told that they are swamped right now and behind on calls/ letters/ emails. They had no way of know when we might hear something. So for now no news is good news...

We were in CASS by the end of the first week, but you don't get weekends off in training. Generally just one day off. We started on a Monday went through Friday, Saturday off, class agin Sunday morning...

Maybe one of them will pipe up, but I *think* the 1/28 class got the first weekend off. I was a 1/29 guy, and we were Tuesday-Saturday, then back in class on Monday.

Not sure that's a great way to start
Im gonna go out on a limb and say no. We're Wed-Sunday but each class is different. If you really need to be there buy a ticket. There's a lot of information and stuff to get started on during the first week. Not sure what the reaction would be of you started by saying "pardon me I need a few days off during training for the reserves 1 week after I start."
