Atlas Air Hiring
#9981

Loop,
The schedule/trip info posted on the last page is an example of a 747 guy...new hires right now are going to the 767 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, and will be CVG-based.

Thanks 744 driver. That's what HR said but they also said there's a possible 74 slot open too. I assume the 76 trips aren't as nice?

Sadly at this point I'd say JetBlue would probably be better than being on the 767 here as a new guy for years. Sure, you're fying a 767, but retirement and pay (because of credits and rig) will be better at JetBlue. Plus you won't be on the hook for 17 days + a month until you retire there. Who knows, maybe it'll improve next contract here, but all you can go off is what we currently have. Hopefully you get hired at both so you can decide for yourself soon!

Contract is up in one year. TBD how soon after we get a new one. New union leadership starts in January so I'm sure it'll be reported on here how their tone with management is and how it looks like things are going leading up to the amendable date.

Or they could give 767 guys equal pay.
