If I was at Southern, not saying. I would want it to pass. Pilots on the street, and good flying.
I'd like to fly a 737 to BWI, MKE, GSO, and other domestic, short haul cities from CVG. Sounds like a very relaxing weekend at home while getting paid.

ABX mgt was out calling their furloughed folks "just to stay ahead of the game" asking if they would accept a recall as a Capt. on the 737 if it should become available. Of course this is/was a thinly veiled attempt to influence a vote if it were to come to that.
Hope all is well JT8

My group voted it down. It never should have been presented as it was shtako. And our furloughed guys saw it too.
The SAI peeps have to vote what they think is best for them. I think they recognise the shtako when they see it but they are have a rough go of it at the moment.
With respect, FAJ

If my source is correct, these are Northern Air Cargo rates under new contract as of January 2013. Hourly guarantee "really hard to break," according to same source, which will also be true of projected DHL CVG operation:
15 YR CA 100200 128.46/HR @ 65 HRS/MO
10 YR CA 95520 122.46/HR
5 YR CA 89762 115.08/HR
3 YR CA 86175 110.48/HR
4 YR FO 53155 68.15/HR

We already have some of the furloughed guys catching on and they are saying it is NOT worth it.

My buddy their doesn't think they will be getting furlouged if it passes. He also said that they are not guaranteed this contract from DHL if they do accept it as they will have to wait and see.
I guess I don't understand how you will not get furloughed if there will not be an answer from DHL right away. Oh, wait a minute, It's already a done deal right?
It will pass and the destruction will continue to a new low. Congratulations.
