Currently a little over 3200TT, 1190 PIC, 140 Jet PIC, 2100 Jet, two types. I'm flying corporate now, but I flew for a regional for about two and a half years. Tons of flying to Mexico at the old place.
I think I would really enjoy the flying Omni does. And I like the idea of doing a long trip and having a large block of days off.

They want about 5000hrs, but will go lower if the person has the right credentials. You are probably a little low on TT for the 'ideal' candidate but you have a couple of type ratings and quite a bit of jet time. I would guess if you had an internal recc you would get called, and you *might* get called without one. They seem to like turboprop guys and seem to shy away from regional jet guys a little, although there are plenty of those guys here so don't feel discouraged by that. That said, I have nothing to do with hiring, and I'm just speculating based on what they told us when we were going through class and the pilots I've met in my short stint here so far.
Most of the guys I have talked to who have been here a while aren't sure why they are hiring as many people as they are, so there is probably either something in the works or a whole lot of turnover and they are trying to 'overstaff' a bit to stay ahead of it.
