The rumor mill buzz is last month half the class failed their Omni training...I don't know if this is true or not. I met several Omni FO's at the last Job fair...Most said they had interviews at Atlas and Spirit. If this is true I'm guessing there will be opportunities at Omni...

Incorrect rumor. We had 1. He didn't apply himself is what I heard, simple. The training is not AQP and it's not "spoon-fed" type training. It requires a lot of self study and dedicated time.

Rumor was correct! If you don't count the management pilot the failure rate was higher.

Why does any of this matter? If you fail Omni training or any airline training it's on your own sleeve. Check airmen here aren't out to ruin careers even if you're obnoxious you're given a fair chance.

Agree. All people in the training department are standup individuals.

If its true, you're only talking about the November class.

Exactly. Check airmen, both civil and military, are tasked to train and qualify pilots. If, in the course of their duties, they identify individuals who are unable to meet the standards then they must be eliminated.
