At this time the estimate is based on attrition and not growth. I personally don’t see any future growth that will carry Omni into the future. Upper management is new and there is much uncertainty of those in decision making positions to have the ability to manage the turmoil that has been in place for years. The parent company, ATSG board and management does not understand the aviation sector Omni operates in, and ignores long term needs over short term stockholder gains. Very senior pilots have been jumping ship if that indicates anything. Can things change? Management says that good things are coming, but we have been hearing this for years. The Pilots and Company are in negotiations with a parent company that thinks it’s 1991, so a new contract is not happening anytime soon. You are better off at Atlas if this type of flying interest you.

 

The airline is a mess right now, Not sure who is running anything It's been years of a travel nightmare and they can't figure what's the problem, The training department can't get people thru training

if they even show up. No contract for at least a few years . Not a good long term business plan ,

Very very senior guys, including very senior check airmen are leaving. I planned to retire here, now, I too am looking at options.
