Things must have taken one heck of a 180 in the last year.

Who was the CP that quit? or at least initials

I’m not surprised. I went there over a year ago as an instructor. I left on the third day after seeing how ****ty they treated their students and how they “fudged” training records.

If you worked at the company 3 days why do you care about the CP? And that’s huge accusation to throw around towards the training department, back it up. Doesn’t at all match up with my experiences.

Why do you care, why I asked? I’m not going to go into detail about the training problems on this forum. Just be glad I didn’t take it to the FAA.
As for the CP, I’m just curious about someone I briefly saw there who I was told was the CP.

Simmer down.

IF you were there 3 days (can anyone verify any instructor who was hired and abruptly quit??) you’d know the initials of the chief pilot were……

fudged training records?? Oh c’mon.
we’ve had at least one new hire fail training. Another failed PC and was fired.
You’ve got to bring it during training. No fudging.

Omni has a lot of problems But, the people who run the training dept are not one of them. Yes we have had a few nut jobs every now and then, but that's every airline No one i know would ever pass someone who

couldn.t do the job. Most of the time they will work with who ever had problems and fix it if they could. if not let them go. So someone making that kind of statement after three days is not very realistic.

Simmer down? You could only have gone there as a contract instructor, but you wouldn't have been used for anything or done anything if you only lasted three days. Now you're invoking the FAA? Be grateful? As in ingratiated to you, thankful, that you "didn't take it to the FAA?"

You may think a lot more of yourself, than you actually are.

Given that Omni is a 121 operation with FAA oversight, who in the FAA do you suppose you'd have informed? Who do you suppose would back you up, after three whole days? That's not even long enough to receive a qualification to teach a ground school session or teach in the sim. Three days? You must have been quite the hombre to walk into the training department as an outsider with no more than three days experience, and have access to enough to take to the FAA. Impressive.

Since you weren’t there, you must be ASSuming a lot. 3 of the 4 instructors, who were qualified didn’t last 3 days. After watching an instructor tell students they had to complete over 70 hours of CBT’s in order to proceed past day 4 …never mind they were not entered into the system till they showed up (not the instructors problem..according to him)..then brag to me he would sign off his own recurrent...

I stayed up till 3 am with several students trying to help them get done. I had been enrolled prior.

I decided I didn’t want to be part of that,.

JohnBurke..I’ve noticed you like playing king of the hill and personally insult (most) other posters, at one time or other, rather than sticking with the issue. Get some counseling man.
Your blocked.

I'm not blocked. I may be on your ignore list, but I'm hardly blocked.

If you were at Omni for three days, you were not teaching a groundschool class, nor were you instructing in a simulator. You may have been a trainee, first auditing a ground school or getting trained to instruct at Omni, but if you were there for the three days you claim, you were not an instructor. Your first lie.

This was a year ago, so September, 2022? You, and two (or three) other "instructors" quit, didi you? All of you had three days employment experience with the company?

"Three of the four instructors who were qualified?" You mean there instructors who weren't qualified? You're sure you want to stand by that story?

An instructor signed himself off for a recurrent? You've got records to back that up, of course. Don't you? You really have been a benevolent soul, not running to the FAA with your plethora of dirt that you dug up in just three days of not instructing.

You stayed up late helping others get through their online training? It's individual training. Students are supposed to do that themselves, aren't they? It's timed, and students must spend a minimum amount of time getting through the courses? Yes? How did you "help them," exactly? Sit with them and listen to the material alongside them? Feed them answers (that would be cheating, wouldn't it)? Log in alongside them and try to reduce the amount of time they spent (that would be cheating too, wouldn't it)? How did staying up late with a student who is watching videos online, help the student? Were you the coffee maker?

Omni instructors don't do that, do they? Of course not, but then...you weren't actually an Omni instructor. What were you, exactly? Be truthful. You can say "trainee." It doesn't hurt as much as you might think.

You say that you "didn't want to be a part of that." You didn't want to be a part of staying up late with students, or helping them cheat? Omni instructors aren't a part of either, so what was your role again there, captain?

The tale you're telling isn't really possible, is it? Too bad I'm "blocked." You've a lot to answer. Shame that you can't. Shame's on you.
